Filo, as a brand, was designed to highlight those in minority groups, those who may not follow the mainstream trend of beauty or what is seen as socially acceptable. We strive to make sure people from all walks of life are properly represented within the media, including in fashion. The world is not made purely of the people seen as perfect by the public; humans are imperfect, we always will be, so why change what makes us special just to make us conform for validation.

Top industry designer, April Thomas, has created a new line of winter clothes including scarves, hats, coats and gloves, and their designs have caused a frenzy across the fashion community.
Recently, it's been uncovered that many fast fashion brands such as H&M, Shein, Zara and ASOS have been replicating these stunning designs and mass producing them to a disgusting degree, poor quality clones that will only end up in landfill by the end of the week.

Daede Kytt outed by invasive media and paparazzi.
After long weeks of being hounded by the media, famous actor Daede Kytt has officially come out on his social media as transgender, much to his fans' disgust - but not at Kytt himself, but rather at the media themselves. It was speculated for years that Kytt was trans due to physical factors and his ability to hit higher registers in songs however, he was recently stalked by the paparazzi and even had photos taken whilst he was inside his own home. Photos of Kytt with top surgery scars began circulating X (formally known as Twitter) clearly haven been taken from outside his home.

Last Tuesday, Daede Kytt finally spoke out about his experience with the paparazzi and how he's taken them to court for stalking, harrassment, and exposing picture of him half-dressed to the support of millions of fans. Peggy Hepburn's newest book for The Gardens duology hits 5000 sales in the UK in its first week on shelves.
Established author, Peggy Hepburn, released her newest book - 700 Metres Deep - for The Gardens duology to a roaring success from the public. Both the public and the press have been praising this book to the ends of the Earth about the way the characters have been written, the plot and its twists, and the tension built throughout the book.
However, writing for Ms Hepburn was incredibly difficult with her taking long breaks and hiatuses just to finish writing the book, and recently, we got the chance for an in-studio interview with her about her process and the advice she has for aspiring writers and authors about burnout and staying motivated for a long-term project.
